Measure out the available space- estimate this by pacing out the space. 1 pace = a metre or yard.

Make sure the space is an L shape- demonstrate use of formula and  show working.

Work out the area of the space.

HxL=area

Add two rectangles together.

Draw a rough sketch of what activities you are putting into the Funday. Scan this and paste or hyperlink.

Estimate areas for each activity.

Work out how much space you will need for each activity.

Itemise these and work out each area in feet.

Add up all areas and get total.

Measure the space properly and convert to metres from yards.

Show the equivalents in your working.
